We are seeking a highly skilled Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator III to join our team at the Town of Smyrna, TN. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our wastewater treatment plant.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and control the treatment process to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plant equipment and facilities
- Collect and analyze water samples to monitor water quality
- Operate and maintain computerized control systems
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve plant goals and objectives
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Tennessee Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or ability to obtain within six months
- Grade III Wastewater Certificate or ability to obtain within 18 months
- One year of experience in a related field or associate's degree in a related field
This is a night shift position, working Wednesday through Saturday from 10 pm to 8 am. You must be able to wear mandatory safety equipment and work in a fast-paced environment.
