Experience Design Lead

Capital One is seeking a highly skilled Experience Design Lead to join our team in Plano, TX. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading the design of user-centered experiences that drive business results and exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uncover customer and business needs and translate them into intuitive and engaging digital experiences.
  • Develop and implement design strategies that align with business goals and customer needs.
  • Lead the design of user-centered experiences that drive business results and exceed customer expectations.
  • Manage and prioritize design projects to ensure timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Develop and maintain design standards and guidelines to ensure consistency across products and experiences.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in user experience design.
  • Proven track record of leading design teams and delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, human-centered design, and design thinking.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience designing for cross-channel experiences.
  • Comfortable working with a variety of business partners and delivering outcomes.
  • Familiarity with design and prototyping tools, such as Sketch and/or Figma.
  • Familiarity with working in an established design system.
  • Experience managing a cross-functional team.
