About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Experience Design Lead to join our team at Capital One. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading the design of user-centered experiences that drive business results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs and develop design solutions that meet those needs.

  • Lead the design of user experiences across multiple channels, including web, mobile, and voice.

  • Develop and maintain design standards and guidelines to ensure consistency across the organization.

  • Conduct user research and testing to inform design decisions and measure the effectiveness of design solutions.

  • Work with product managers and engineers to ensure design solutions are feasible and meet business requirements.

  • Communicate design decisions and solutions to stakeholders, including product managers, engineers, and executives.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in user experience design, with a focus on leading design teams and developing design strategies.

  • Proven track record of delivering user-centered design solutions that drive business results.

  • Strong understanding of design principles, human-centered design, and design thinking.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Experience with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite.
