About the Role

In this role, you will lead a team of engineers focused on evolving the Siri platform across the Apple suite of devices. You will work closely with partner teams both within AIML and across Apple's Device Organizations to identify innovative ways we can make Siri more capable, personal, and helpful to our users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the investigation, analysis, and development of platform engineering work across the Siri platform team.
  • Build relationships and collaborate with AIML and Apple partner teams to ensure a phenomenal user experience.
  • Lead a highly talented team of software engineers.
  • Facilitate the adoption of Apple Intelligence features within the Siri Platform.
  • Become the technical expert of Siri's platform. Deeply understand the needs and constraints to be able to provide guidance on future decisions.
  • Tackle complex technical challenges by leveraging innovative solutions.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • 5+ years managing multi-layered engineering teams that design complex software engineering projects.
  • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with performance engineering, analysis, and on-device optimization.
  • Experience with influencing and working in collaboration with others.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrable experience leading cross-functional projects that have had a tangible impact on the direction of the org.
  • Strong organizational skills and experience working on large multi-functional teams.
  • Strong Computer Science fundamentals, object-oriented programming, and design skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
