Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Structured Cabling Technician to support a significant project within the educational sector. This role involves working on a major initiative aimed at enhancing the infrastructure of various facilities.

Position Details:
This position is expected to be a contract-to-hire opportunity, with a strong emphasis on flexibility for travel to different job sites as needed. While the primary focus will be on local projects, there may be occasions to assist in other regions.

Project Scope:
The work is associated with a substantial funding initiative dedicated to upgrading physical structures, enhancing safety measures, and improving technological capabilities. Technicians will be responsible for a variety of tasks including:

  • Running, pulling, installing, terminating, dressing, testing, and labeling copper cabling.
  • Utilizing hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, and snips.

Work Schedule:
Our company prioritizes quality over quantity, leading to a flexible work schedule. Typical hours may consist of four 10-hour days or five 8-hour days, depending on the specific project requirements. For traveling technicians, a 4-day work week is likely to allow for return home on weekends.
