Job Title: Real Estate Finance Analyst

Location: Lower Manhattan, New York

Work Arrangement: Full-time, Onsite

The Client:

The client is a prominent financial institution with deep regional roots and a global reach. They offer a comprehensive range of banking services to corporate, retail, and institutional clients, emphasizing entrepreneurial spirit, long-term customer relationships, and a commitment to sustainability and digital innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily operations in the real estate department, including transaction analysis, credit applications, and closing documentation.
  • Manage onboarding and ongoing support for new and existing clients as part of the KYC program.
  • Utilize the internal rating model to evaluate new and existing transactions.
  • Contribute to various projects and reports, such as management, loan exposure, and risk reports.
  • Develop marketing materials and real estate presentations.
  • Conduct market research and prepare loan submission documents.
  • Update and maintain reports on the pipeline, portfolio, and loan collateral.
  • Coordinate with and pay third-party vendors.
  • Organize and maintain records and documentation.
  • Oversee loan portfolio compliance, financial statement and property reporting, and collateral monitoring.
  • Track important dates and prepare required reports.
  • Work with the Settlements Department for loan servicing and administration.
  • Support ongoing loan portfolio management, including compliance reviews and loan draw requests.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Argus, PowerPoint, and OSPlus.
  • Understanding of real estate lending, due diligence, and loan underwriting.
  • Experience in financial data analysis, real estate fundamentals, legal documentation, bank operations, and credit approval processes.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; bilingual in German and English.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Candidates with ongoing (part-time) or recently completed bachelor's degrees in relevant fields are encouraged to apply.
