Quality Engineer Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Quality Engineer to join our team at KnowHireMatch. As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining production values and ensuring adherence to customer quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct product audits, analyze defect trends, and lead cross-functional continuous improvement activities.
  • Investigate internal quality issues on production quality, processes, and equipment.
  • Act as a communication liaison between internal and external groups regarding quality issues.
  • Establish, maintain, and track quality standards.
  • Participate in process audits to address specific issues.
  • Address customer and internal product concerns by documenting and communicating problem tracking activities.
  • Analyze monthly performance reports and process data to identify areas of improvement.
  • Coordinate with departments to confirm packaging trials meet quality standards.
  • Train and mentor new engineers in a hands-on environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Experience in quality functions within the automotive supplier industry.
  • Proficiency in quality tools, including FMEA, capability studies, and GD&T.
  • Plastic injection molding process and process improvement experience is highly desirable.
