Job Title:
Quality Assurance Inspector

Job Summary:

As a Quality Assurance Inspector at Conn-Selmer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products by performing inspections, collecting and compiling data, and promoting quality awareness throughout the organization.



Responsibilities:


Perform inspections of raw materials, purchased parts, and finished products according to established standards using physical, mechanical, or electrical measurements.

Identify and communicate components or processes that are performing at substandard yield.
Accept, reject, or quarantine product as required according to established standards and protocols.
Accurately document the results of the inspection/testing.
Work with Production Management and Quality to provide feedback to work associates regarding non-compliance issues.
Maintain an appropriate, clean, and safe work environment.

Requirements:
Regular Attendance.
Ability to use a variety of hand tools, measure devices (micrometers, calipers, etc.).
Mechanical and Manufacturing Process aptitude.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work autonomously.
Ability to make sound judgment based on consistent and objective measures.

Working Conditions:
Ability to sit or stand for 8 consecutive hours.
Ability to perform repetitive work.
Ability to safely lift 40 lbs. unassisted.
Maintain an appropriate, clean and safe work environment.
Ability to bring items into sharp focus visually, ability to feel and detect subtle material defects.
Frequent kneeling, crouching, bending, stooping, reaching, and pushing carts.
Complies with all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Exposure to manufacturing environment, including dust, noise, and vibration.

$19.16
