About the Position:

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Leadership Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and developing nursing teams, ensuring effective collaboration with the facility leadership team, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Nursing Team Leadership: Lead and develop nursing teams, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.">
  • Staff Performance: Responsible for staff performance, recruitment, retention, and development within the nursing department.">
  • Quality Assurance: Assess and ensure the continuity of care for each client, monitoring quality and making improvements as needed.">
  • Policy Development: Develop and implement policies and procedures governing nursing services, in line with regulatory standards.">
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments and agencies to enhance patient care and staff development.">
  • Financial Management: Ensure the department's budgetary guidelines are maintained, monitoring expenditures in nursing supplies, equipment, and materials.">
  • Direct Patient Care: Provide direct nursing services, including document completion, medication administration, transcription of physician orders, and consultation with medical personnel.">
  • Leadership and Management: Demonstrate leadership in staff management, recruitment, selection, and disciplinary actions within the Nursing Department.">
  • Safety Programs: Implement safety programs and actively participate in reducing Worker's Compensation.">
  • Nursing Service Coordination: Coordinate nursing services with other clinical and ancillary services, promoting cost-effective use of resources.">
  • Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement: Establish and maintain a comprehensive Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement program within the Nursing Department.">
  • Committee Participation: Actively participate in committees related to patient safety, nursing policies, practices, and procedures.">
  • Performance Management: Manage performance through rewards, recognition, coaching, and corrective action.">
  • Staff Management: Provide staff management, including hiring, development, training, performance management, and effective communication.">
  • Staffing and Documentation Standards: Manage staffing and documentation standards for inpatient and outpatient MAT dosing clinics.">
  • Wound Care: Manage the wound care unit/program.">
  • ASAM Programming Guidelines: Manage the ASAM programming guidelines for the nursing staff.">

Compensation:

">

The estimated annual salary for this position is $125,000 - $155,000, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Requirements:

">

To be successful in this role, you will need a Master of Science in Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing, current RN licensure, and CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification. A minimum of 5 years of nursing experience and 3-5 years of leadership experience in behavioral health or psychiatric nursing are required. Experience in training staff and possession of comprehensive training and experience with the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) criteria are highly desirable.
