Position Overview

The Electronics Assembly Specialist will utilize detailed work instructions and wiring diagrams to assemble and solder the electrical components of our innovative products, as well as construct their corresponding wiring harnesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble and test electronic and electro-mechanical systems
  • Glue sub-assemblies using specialized adhesives
  • Perform mechanical assembly of precision measurement devices
  • Collaborate closely with production management to ensure efficient and high-quality manufacturing processes

Required Skills
  • Proficient in reading blueprints and wiring diagrams
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to excellence
  • Able to follow and comprehend established procedures and work instructions
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work collaboratively
  • Maintain accurate records of product calibration and testing
  • Basic computer skills
  • Previous experience in electronics assembly is advantageous
  • Prior soldering skills are a plus
  • Experience in mechanical assembly is beneficial

Essential Job Functions
  • Utilize 2-part epoxy for gluing sub-assemblies
  • Conduct general mechanical assembly using hand, powered, or pneumatic tools
  • Integrate printed circuit boards (PCBs) and other electronic components into products
  • Solder wiring to PCB boards
  • Assemble wire harnesses, cables, and electronic sub-assemblies
  • Calibrate and test products to ensure functionality
  • Physically handle components, including lifting up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment
