Care and Support Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Support Worker - Learning Disability to join our team at Chapel Haven Schleifer Center Inc. In this role, you will work closely with individuals with learning disabilities or developmental disabilities to support them in achieving their goals and developing essential life skills.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the principles of person-centered care and be able to demonstrate empathy, patience, and understanding when working with individuals with complex needs.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or related field
- Or 4+ years' experience working with individuals with learning disabilities or developmental disabilities
Responsibilities:
- Support individuals with daily living and social skills
- Assist with community awareness/access and medication oversight/administration
- Complete daily progress notes for individuals based on their individual goals and objectives
Salary Range: $18.75/hourly (based on 20 hours/weekly)
Working Hours: 20 hours/weekly; Monday-Thursday 4pm-9pm
