Job Title: Linux System Administrator Graduate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Linux System Administrator Graduate to join our team at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. As a Linux System Administrator Graduate, you will be responsible for the configuration and maintenance of servers, switches, GPUs, and storage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure and maintain servers, switches, GPUs, and storage.
  • Image and upgrade servers with Linux OS and update firmware.
  • Set up multiple root partitions and install a variety of OS versions on the partitions.
  • Update DNS entries and configure systems to run on the HPE network per our network security protocols at HPE.
  • Familiar with VMware vSphere and setting up and maintaining virtual servers.
  • Familiar with High-Performance Cluster Manager (HPCM) software and able to install and maintain a cluster using that software.
  • Familiar with Lustre File systems and supporting software installs and upgrades.
  • Familiar with Workload Managers; SLURM and PBS.
  • Maintain a clean and safe lab environment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Business field required.
  • Candidate will collaborate with a team of system administrators and will have a senior system administrator at the same job site to be their mentor.
