Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Vibration Analyst to join our team at Eastern Industrial Automation. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for performing vibration data collection, analysis, and reporting to support our local sales staff and existing customer base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze vibration data from rotating equipment to determine machine condition and identify potential issues.
  • Perform routine and emergent data collection needs for a diverse customer base.
  • Evaluate machinery health and condition through detailed analysis of vibration data.
  • Conduct failure analysis of rotating equipment to determine root causes of failure and recommend solutions to prevent reoccurrences.
  • Provide supportive services such as laser alignment, dynamic balancing, and oil analysis.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and instrumentation related to data collection systems.
  • Perform select field services such as changing sheaves and belts.
  • Interface with internal teams and external suppliers to grow business and provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in machinery vibration analysis, with certification in ISO category one or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in vibration data analysis.
  • Knowledge of vibration data and analysis techniques.
  • Experience interfacing with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and experience working around rotating equipment.
  • Experience with machine learning and innovation in machinery health assessments is preferred.
  • Must be willing to travel throughout the local designated market areas.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work in the United States.
