About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Science Liaison/Associate Director to join our team at BioCT Innovation Commons. As a key member of our Medical Affairs department, you will play a critical role in advancing our scientific understanding and engagement with healthcare professionals, researchers, and other stakeholders in the field of obesity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scientific Exchange and Engagement: Establish and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, researchers, and healthcare professionals to provide scientific expertise and support for our obesity-related initiatives.
  • Insight Generation and Reporting: Identify, document, and communicate scientific insights and trends in the field of obesity to inform our business strategies and decision-making.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Medical Affairs, Commercial, and Research, to provide scientific support and communicate insights to internal stakeholders.
  • Business Development and Strategy: Contribute to the development of business strategies and initiatives related to obesity, leveraging your scientific expertise and knowledge of the healthcare landscape.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Advanced degree in a life science or related field, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a scientific or medical affairs role, preferably in the field of obesity.
  • Scientific Expertise: Strong understanding of the scientific principles and research methods related to obesity, as well as the ability to communicate complex scientific information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Business Acumen: Ability to understand and apply business principles and strategies to drive scientific engagement and business growth.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, researchers, and internal teams.
