Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain the library's integrated library system, computer time/print management system, and other library systems.
  • Collaborate with teams across the library and the City of Jacksonville's Information Technologies Division.
  • Provide technical support and training to library staff.
  • Develop and implement technology solutions to improve library services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Four years of experience in systems analysis, implementation, and administration.
  • Working knowledge of programming/scripting languages such as SQL, Perl, Python, JavaScript, UNIX shell scripting, or like programs and languages.
  • Library systems experience preferred.
  • A Master's Degree in Library Science from an American Library Association accredited program preferred.
