Key Responsibilities:
1. Interpret and analyze blueprints, job routings, and setup sheets to ensure adherence to specifications.
2. Set up and operate Swiss machines to perform various machining operations.
3. Load and adjust tools, maintaining awareness of runout and tool length stickouts.
4. Identify and replace dull or damaged tooling as necessary.
5. Adjust work offsets and tool wear lengths for optimal performance.
6. Conduct quality control checks to document tolerance zones as specified.
7. Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in machining or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 10 years in CNC machining.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints.
- Knowledge of GD&T principles.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and independent thinking.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
