We are seeking an experienced Owner's Engineer to join our Power Delivery team at Mesa Associates, Inc. In this role, you will provide technical representation for our valued customer and ensure that power substation designs meet all applicable standards and requirements. With 8-14 years of experience working in the power utility industry, you will be able to demonstrate your expertise in power substation engineering design and work collaboratively with our team to deliver high-quality results.

About the Job

This is a full-time remote position that requires a BSEE or BSME from an ABET accredited University. You will work closely with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that power substation designs are compatible with all applicable standards and requirements. Your excellent communication and project management skills will enable you to interact effectively with customers and other team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical oversight for power substation design to ensure compliance, efficiency, and constructability.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality results.
  • Interact with the Customer to meet their schedule and budgeting requirements.
  • Review work of other team members.
  • Perform work safely.
