Job Description:

The Director of Facilities is responsible for overseeing the operational and facilities needs of the Utah Shakespeare Festival. This role requires collaboration with the General Manager and other business department staff to manage the financial operations of the facilities department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the use of motor vehicles and USF's grounds and buildings, coordinating with relevant SUU departments.
  • Collaborate with Festival staff to execute priorities for festival facilities.
  • Ensure USF compliance with necessary safety regulations, such as OSHA and Workers Compensation.
  • Hire and supervise seasonal staff to implement safe street closures during the Engelstad performance season.
  • Coordinate the installation and removal of the holiday light display at the Beverley Center.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED (minimum)
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
  • Ability to handle numerous projects simultaneously in a rapidly expanding organization
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • OSHA 30 certification
