Position Overview

The Michigan State University Health Care division of urology is seeking a qualified Board Eligible/Board Certified Urologist for a full-time faculty role at the level of Associate or Assistant Professor. This position emphasizes both inpatient and outpatient surgical care, providing a comprehensive clinical experience.

Clinical Responsibilities: The selected candidate will engage in a robust clinical practice that includes a variety of surgical procedures. The role involves active participation in the education of urology residents within an ACGME accredited residency program, alongside teaching diverse medical students.

Facilities and Resources: The faculty will have access to state-of-the-art urologic equipment, including DaVinci robotic systems, within newly renovated office spaces. Surgical procedures and inpatient care will be conducted at leading hospitals equipped with advanced urologic instrumentation.

Collaborative Environment: The MSU Division of Urology fosters a collaborative atmosphere, working closely with health colleges such as Osteopathic Medicine, Human Medicine, Nursing, and Veterinary Medicine to enhance medical care, research, and education.

Qualifications:

  • Doctorate in Urological Surgery
  • DO or MD License in Michigan
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Urological Surgery

Preferred Attributes: Leadership experience is advantageous.
