Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced urologist to join our faculty at Michigan State University Health Care. As a board eligible/board certified urologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, teaching, and research in the field of urology.

The successful candidate will have a strong clinical focus on inpatient and outpatient surgical patient care, with active participation in the clinical education of urologic surgery residents within an ACGME accredited, urologic surgery residency program. You will also be expected to educate diverse medical students at Michigan State University.

Our urology faculty provide clinical care and procedures in our newly renovated office space. Inpatient care and surgical procedures are performed at McLaren Greater Lansing and Sparrow Hospital with optional ASC block time available. Both hospitals are fully equipped with state-of-the-art urologic instrumentation, including DaVinci robots with teaching consoles to support residents educational needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and surgical procedures
  • Teach and mentor urologic surgery residents and medical students
  • Contribute to research and academic activities in the field of urology
  • Participate in departmental and university service activities
Requirements

DO or MD License in Michigan, Board Eligible or Board Certified in urological surgery. Leadership experience is desirable.
