Senior Manager, Retail Workforce Management

At Warby Parker, we're reimagining the retail experience and seeking a Senior Manager, Retail Workforce Management to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for implementing workforce optimization best practices that drive exceptional customer experiences across our 160+ retail locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement workforce optimization strategies that balance customer experience, team productivity, and hours spent.
  • Lead the creation of the operating store labor model, establishing scheduling standards and ideal staffing structures based on key store attributes.
  • Identify scheduling trends to unlock future sales growth and opportunities.
  • Cultivate a culture of payroll accountability across our store, field leadership, and corporate teams.
  • Partner with teams and stores across the country to improve scheduling, time management, payroll, and operational processes.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in a highly analytic and strategic role.
  • Optimistic, high-energy problem solver with a passion for innovation.
  • Resourceful, proactive team player with experience working cross-functionally.
  • Naturally curious with a desire to question the status quo and drive informed decision-making.
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple assignments, take initiative, and work independently.
  • Crystal-clear communicator with experience translating data into strategic recommendations.
  • Analytical, creative thinker with a focus on the details and the big picture.
  • Lover of data and numbers with a solid understanding of analytical tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Looker or a similar data visualization tool.
  • Previous work experience in retail, optometry, or medical care.
  • Knowledge of Dayforce or a comparable workforce planning software.
