Job Title: Director, Human Resources and Labor Relations

Strivector Corp, a leading National Staffing and Recruiting agency, is seeking a seasoned Director, Human Resources and Labor Relations to join our team. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will play a critical role in developing and executing strategic people initiatives to optimize our Operations organization within the Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with sector and site leadership to drive engagement, talent acquisition, and development, organizational effectiveness, and continuous improvement in support of our annual operating plan.
  • Develop and execute HR strategic priorities in collaboration with the ISR HR team.
  • Collaborate with other HR Site Leaders to drive Sector Operations HR initiatives across all sites.
  • Ensure the consistent and unbiased application of HR processes and programs, aligned with organizational needs, business priorities, and collective bargaining agreements.
  • Use metrics and analytics to drive performance and people decisions in developing HR strategies for engagement, retention, and diversity and inclusion.
  • Collaborate with site leaders to create workforce and staffing plans to ensure availability of human capital necessary to accomplish business results.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with leadership and employees, providing advice and counsel on employee-related and organizational matters.
  • Take ownership and exhibit leadership for various Human Resources projects, initiatives, and labor relations at the sector level, driving strategic goals down into the HR organization.
  • Manage and develop aligned team members, establishing goals, measuring performance, identifying development needs, and opportunities to build a strong, agile HR department.
  • Serve as advisor, mentor, and coach for leaders in support of achieving objectives.
  • Effectively communicate and promote HR and business strategy to all levels of the organization.
  • Ensure best practices relative to Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Organizational Development, and Talent Management.
  • Strategize with labor representatives and site leaders to establish the company's bargaining position during negotiations, preparing negotiation materials for senior leadership/executive review, managing the negotiation budget and process.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree with 15 years of related experience or Graduate Degree with 13 years of related experience. In lieu of degree, minimum 19 years of related experience, 5 years in a leadership role in Human Resources, and experience in leading labor relations for a bargained population.
  • Experience with interpreting collective bargaining agreements and negotiating with union representatives.
  • Experience developing strategy with collective bargaining and reporting up to senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated track record of building strong business relationships with business leaders.
  • Experience working in the Aerospace and Defense or manufacturing industry preferred.
  • Strong HR Functional knowledge with experience in Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Talent Management, and Employee Relations.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance, which requires US Citizenship.
