Job Title: Family Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Family Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team at a Medical Center in Buffalo Center, IA/Fairmont, MN.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing primary care services to patients, conducting thorough medical histories, performing physical examinations, and initiating appropriate lab and radiology tests. They will also work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough medical histories and physical examinations to establish a record of the patient's current health status and develop a working diagnosis and treatment plan.
  • Provide primary care services on established days and times, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Must be able to work with collaborating physicians when applicable.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) with a Family Nurse Practitioner focus or a Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in family medicine, primary care, or a similar clinical setting.
  • Current licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in IA/MN.
  • Board certification as an FNP by the ANCC or AANP, or as a PA-C by the NCCPA.
