Medical Surgical Unit Registered Nurse

We are seeking a dynamic Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical Unit at Sierra Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing safe and compassionate care to our patients in the medical/telemetry environment.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough patient assessments, identifying psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population-specific, and diversity needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, integrating direct and indirect patient care activities related to diagnosis and co-morbidities.
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care plans, setting goals, treatment plans, and discharge plans that meet individual patient/family needs.
- Complete hourly rounds, strengthening nurse communication, improving safety, and anticipating patient needs.
- Collaborate with patients' designated care partners to meet educational, physical, psychological, and spiritual needs.
- Utilize effective communication practices, minimizing risks associated with handoffs among providers and across transitions in care.
