About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Product Owner to join our team at Agave. As a key member of our founding team, you will play a pivotal role in helping us scale our product to hundreds of customers.

Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to be an early member of a fast-growing YC startup modernizing one of the world's largest and most critical industries - construction. You will work closely with our world-class engineers to deliver and expand our core product.

Responsibilities
  • Investigate new source systems to integrate with, including data models, business logic, APIs, and more.
  • Research and define the structure for new data models, including schemas, interrelations, and standardization.
  • Write detailed documentation explaining source systems, data models, and API features for internal reference and customer use.
  • Troubleshoot ad hoc issues with integrations and data models, helping software engineers debug and resolve errors.
  • Build and own customer and partner relationships, working end-to-end with software startups and construction companies.
  • Translate customer needs into detailed product requirements for software engineers to code against.
Requirements
  • Hands-on experience with APIs, databases, SQL, Postman, and similar tools.
  • At least 1 year of experience working for a software company in a data analyst, product, or technical role.
  • Ability to manage multiple threads without sacrificing quality.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, with a focus on nuances and edge cases.
  • Clear and concise communication, with a love for writing crisp documentation.
