Job Summary:
The Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative plays a critical role in delivering exceptional service to customers and stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and timely resolution of inquiries and issues. This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert guidance and support to customers on existing policies, utilizing strong communication and interpersonal skills to resolve complex issues.
  • Collaborate with processing specialists and producers to process new business and renewal applications, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  • Process renewals, changes, and cancellations in a timely and efficient manner, utilizing advanced software systems and tools.
  • Update customer account information in our database and process transactions, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Document receipts of payments and follow up on past due payments, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Reconcile monthly production reports with producers, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  • Maintain prospect and customer account information in our database, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information.
  • Run expiration reports on a monthly basis and coordinate renewals with producers, ensuring seamless communication and timely resolution of issues.
  • Collaborate with accounting personnel to reconcile and rectify accounts, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Process bonds and other specialized documents, requiring strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; property and casualty licensure and related product knowledge preferred.
  • Minimum three years of successful customer service experience, with a strong track record of delivering exceptional service and resolving complex issues.
  • Proficiency in personal computers, MS Word, database software, and internet and electronic mail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
