Job Title: Helpdesk Specialist

Washington & Jefferson College is seeking a highly skilled Helpdesk Specialist to join our Information Technology Services (ITS) team. As a Helpdesk Specialist, you will provide technical support to faculty, staff, and students, ensuring that they have access to the technology they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Tier 1 technical support via phone, email, and web portal
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues with desktops, laptops, printers, and other devices
  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software
  • Work with vendors to resolve technical issues
  • Perform regular maintenance to ensure systems are running optimally
Requirements:
  • 1+ years of IT experience, preferably in a helpdesk role
  • Knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems
  • Experience with hardware and software troubleshooting
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
