POSITION SUMMARY:
The role is pivotal in bolstering the Commercial Banking client service sector by orchestrating the activities of designated Bankers. This position acts as a key facilitator to expedite the realization of client business objectives by ensuring seamless connections among Commercial Bankers, clients, and business associates through organized meetings, event coordination, and strategic business development planning.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Commercial Banking Operations:
- Assist Bankers in achieving business development goals by:
- Meeting or surpassing new client relationship targets.
- Generating new loans, deposits, and associated fees.
- Maintaining an active portfolio.
- Reviewing weekly performance reports, processing loans, addressing post-closing exceptions, and collaborating with the Portfolio Manager to ensure Bankers are informed of outstanding requirements.
- Support Bankers in business development by:
- Coordinating loan approvals and preparing necessary documentation.
- Processing finalized loans for entry and submission to the loan vault.
- Delivering prompt, professional, and courteous responses to customer inquiries.
- Engaging with external vendors regarding closing protocols.
- Portfolio Management for Bankers:
- Reviewing exception reports and following up with borrowers and Bankers to resolve documentation issues.
- Managing overdue accounts by providing weekly updates to Bankers and following up with clients on outstanding financial statements.
- Assisting the Portfolio Manager with annual reviews as required.
- Monitoring various reports, including overdrafts and expiring loan insurance.
- Customer Retention and Expansion:
- Implementing customer satisfaction assessments.
- Analyzing feedback from customer surveys.
- Upholding the highest legal and ethical standards relevant to the industry and adhering to Seacoast Bank's Code of Conduct, while complying with all applicable regulations and internal policies.
- Ensuring compliance with AML/BSA regulations, audit protocols, dual control, security measures, Business Continuity, and other regulatory banking requirements.
- Adhering to Seacoast Bank's Code of Conduct.
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in process and office management, business analytics, and commercial lending support.
- At least 2 years of experience in the financial services sector.
