Job Opportunity for a Licensed Doctoral Level Child and Adolescent Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Doctoral Level Child and Adolescent Psychologist to join our team at Rice Psychology Group. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with children, teens, and families, providing individual and family therapy, conducting psychological assessments, and developing treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct new patient intakes, including clear notes, impressions, and initial treatment targets/goals
  • Create dynamic treatment plans for clients and their families, communicating benchmarks and timelines clearly and concisely
  • Provide individual and family therapy with compassion, ingenuity, and confidence, innovating and researching to offer the best fit therapy-wise
  • Conduct an array of psychological assessments as needed and write clear and concise evaluation reports
  • Develop strong relationships with potential and current clients by engaging with our Tampa community, leveraging our strong community network and online presence
  • Build good working relationships with our other team members, consulting with clinicians to work through problems and offer insight
  • Stay on the cutting edge with technology, familiarizing yourself with our systems and platforms, including Zoom, Therasoft Online, Microsoft Office for Business 365, GoZen, and online testing platforms

Requirements:

  • Florida Psychology license or be Florida license-eligible
  • Experience and interest in working with school-aged children and teenagers and their families
  • Familiarity with therapy modalities such as Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Family Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), and/or treating trauma
  • A flexible schedule, with the ability to work two evenings a week and most opting not to work weekends
  • A commitment to your practice, with a focus on staying with us to take full advantage of our leadership track and learning from fellow RPG colleagues
