Job Summary
": "The VETERANS HEALTH ADMINISTRATION is seeking a highly qualified Staff Psychologist to join their team. As a key member of the mental health department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological services to patients in a variety of settings.", "Responsibilities": "- Conduct psychological and neuropsychological assessments to diagnose mental disorders.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans for patients with mental health conditions.
- Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy to patients.
- Consult with medical center staff on patient care issues.
- Participate in program evaluations and research activities.
- Hold a doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited institution.
- Be licensed to practice psychology at the doctoral level in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States.
- Have successfully completed a professional psychology internship training program.
- Be proficient in written and spoken English.
- Meet the qualifications for the grade level of the position.
This position is located at the VETERANS HEALTH ADMINISTRATION, Tampa, FL. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with rotating tours of duty as needed.
