As a key member of our healthcare IT team, you will be responsible for analyzing, planning, designing, maintaining, and providing ongoing optimization and support of Baptist OneCare (Epic).
About the Role:
In this role, you will perform workflow assessments, capture business needs, and analyze internal business systems to determine functional requirements for optimal utilization. You will possess clinical, financial, technical, or application knowledge and experience. You will also perform system builds, upgrades, and system enhancements as needed. Additionally, you will support applications through all phases of implementation, optimization, and maintenance. You will work with cross-functional teams and end-users to achieve application integration to meet clinical and/or business needs. You will exercise discretion and judgment in the performance of original, creative, intellectual work. You will be subject to callback and on-call as required. You will perform other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the implementation of Baptist OneCare and associated projects to meet organizational objectives and strategies.
- Analyze problems, recommend improvements, and develop appropriate action plans utilizing Baptist Management System Tools to promote transformation and ensure successful implementation.
- Complete testing of software applications using established standards and protocols.
- Provide ongoing support of Epic and other applications under your area of responsibility.
- Complete assigned goals.
Requirements, Preferences, and Experience:
Education:
Preferred: Bachelor's degree.
Minimum: Education from an accredited institution or experience as listed. Education of a certificate program or two-year college degree; Completion of Epic certification within 90 days of completing training.
Experience:
Preferred: Experience in project management and/or system implementations.
Minimum: Proven combination of experience that demonstrates knowledge of healthcare issues, systems issues, software design, and integration. Minimum of five years of relevant experience or combination of experience and education.
Special Skills:
Minimum: Proficiency in communicating and performing the techniques of information systems assessment and implementation. Proficiency in communicating and performing Information Technology assessments.
