We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Clinical Research Coordinator to join our team at Mid Atlantic Retina. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of our clinical research trials, ensuring the highest level of patient safety and data quality.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a thorough understanding of study objectives, protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Obtain informed consent from patients and ensure accurate documentation of all processes.
- Collaborate with screening department to initiate screening packets and enroll patients in clinical trials.
- Manage client relationships to ensure protocol compliance and patient safety.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation of source documents and CRFs.
- Communicate proactively with sponsors, CROs, and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of action items.
- Boost enrollment by informing doctors of study details and utilizing supplemental materials.
- Respond to referrals within 24 hours.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- College degree in a related health science or 2 years of clinical research experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
This position requires regular standing and walking, as well as occasional bending, kneeling, and stooping. The employee must be able to lift or move objects weighing over 15 pounds as needed. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus with or without corrective lenses.
