Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Clinical Research Coordinator to join our team at the Perelman School of Medicine University of Pennsylvania. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and implementing research studies, ensuring compliance with study protocols, and collaborating with investigators and project managers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Screen patients for eligibility across multiple studies
  • Consent patients into multiple studies
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to provide a positive patient experience
  • Respond to study participant phone calls and perform telephone follow-up per study protocol
  • Collect and report timely, valid, and accurate data, and maintain individual patient records
  • Maintain study compliance and integrity through close collaboration with investigators, project managers, and patients
  • Coordinate with community partners as needed
Additional Responsibilities for Clinical Research Coordinator B
  • Contribute to and lead community-engaged research and meetings
  • Ensure all tests and assessments at each visit are performed, report adverse events, and ensure review and follow-up by investigators
  • Prepare detailed documentation of study activities
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a BA/BS degree and 1-2 years of experience in research and clinical study methodologies, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong planning, organizational, and prioritizing capabilities, as well as problem-solving skills, are desired.
