Job Title: Sales Representative - Battery Truck

Suburban Automotive Services is a leading provider of automotive solutions, and we are seeking a highly motivated Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative - Battery Truck, you will be responsible for driving a dedicated battery truck to sell batteries to both current and new accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish strong relationships with key contacts at each customer location to ensure their needs are being satisfied.
  • Coordinate with local Sales and Operations Teams to improve market penetration.
  • Replenish customer needs from the Battery Truck inventory.
  • Rotate stock to ensure batteries retain proper charge.
  • Pickup battery cores for return.
  • Replenish Battery Truck inventory and follow internal audit procedures to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Process paperwork to document sales, core returns, and customer communication.
  • Review and analyze customer stops to optimize delivery operations.
  • Ensure company equipment projects a positive market presence.
  • Identify opportunities for new sales strategies, incentives, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical exam.
  • Clean driving record to meet insurance requirements.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Capability to earn a Certified Forklift License.
  • Valid driver's license with an adequate driving record.
  • Reliable method of transportation.
  • Strong PC skills with a solid understanding of Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
