Medical Office Registered Nurse- Primary Care Specialist

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Neurosciences team in Boston, Massachusetts.
About the RoleThe inpatient neuroscience units at Mass General Brigham consist of 3 floors in our state-of-the-art Lunder building, providing a unique and challenging environment for nurses to grow and develop their skills.
As a Registered Nurse (RN) Neurosciences, you will be part of an amazing team of clinicians who provide exceptional care to complex patients with primary neurological diagnoses.
You will care for an adult population with a variety of primary neurological diagnoses, including stroke, head and spine trauma, and degenerative spine disease requiring surgical intervention.
Our neuroscience nurses become experts in the care of this complex patient population, with proficiency in caring for patients with altered mental status, external drains, mechanical ventilation, and parenteral feeding tubes.
Responsibilities- Care for patients with primary neurological diagnoses, including stroke, head and spine trauma, and degenerative spine disease.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients and their families.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest advances in neuroscience nursing.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current licensure in Massachusetts as a registered nurse.
- BSN preferred.
- Neuro and critical care experience are preferred, but candidates with experience in general acute care and demonstrating a strong interest in the neuroscience specialty will also be considered.
- Able to work a day/night rotation shift.
