Role Responsibilities:

The Manufacturing Manager is tasked with overseeing daily assembly and testing operations at our facility. The selected candidate will lead manufacturing supervisors and a represented workforce of assembly and test technicians, ensuring support for products across various market segments.

Your responsibilities will include managing assigned work centers to deliver defect-free products, meeting program cost and schedule requirements.

This role demands effective change management skills, particularly as many projects transition from design and development to production for the first time. You will be required to manage lower maturity projects, responding swiftly to changes and identifying workarounds as necessary. Additionally, you will analyze substantial data sets to effectively manage your team.

This position necessitates a government security clearance; applicants must be U.S. citizens.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Prior leadership experience with a represented workforce.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and practical experience in Lean Manufacturing and Flow principles.
  • Ability to obtain an Interim Secret DoD clearance prior to starting this position, which requires U.S. citizenship.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with digital tools and data analysis to support manufacturing operations.
  • Background in electrical and mechanical assembly and testing related to radar and launcher subsystems.
  • Exceptional communication skills.

This position is structured as a 4x10A work schedule (Monday - Thursday), with the possibility of an alternative schedule based on job fit as determined by management during the interview process.

Security Clearance Requirement:

This role requires a government security clearance; applicants must be U.S. citizens.
