Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Yard Attendant I to join our team at IAA. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of vehicles through our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Preparation: Thoroughly clean and prepare vehicles for auction, utilizing your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Asset Recovery: Recover keys, license plates, and other information or objects from vehicles, and store them in the appropriate locations at the facility.
  • Operations Support: Assist visitors by providing guidance and advising them to the appropriate person for additional assistance.
  • Forklift and Loader Operation: Train and develop on-the-job skills in forklift and loader operation.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 20 lbs., frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs., and occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull over 100 lbs.
  • Working Conditions: Primarily outdoor work in all types of weather, with a focus on safety and adherence to industry-specific regulations.
