We are seeking a skilled Nurse Coordinator to join our team at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and coordinating daily operations.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing with experience in acute care settings. You will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless coordination of care and exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide professional nursing care to patients, adhering to established standards and practices
- Assist physicians and staff with daily patient care coordination and access
- Coordinate patient flow, schedules appointments, procedures, tests, and referrals
- Serve as a preceptor for clinical staff and demonstrate leadership behaviors
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and incorporate evidence-based practice into nursing care
- One year of acute care nursing experience
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Louisiana State license as RN and BLS certification
- Proficient in English language, verbal and written communication skills, and computer skills
$62,000 - $82,000 per annum, depending on experience
