Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Professional - Patient Care Coordinator to join our team at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center.

About the Role

This is a PRN position that requires a Registered Nurse (RN) with excellent patient care skills and experience in coordinating care for patients. The successful candidate will work under minimal supervision, utilizing their expertise and judgment to provide high-quality care and lead clinical staff as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Coordinate patient flow, schedule appointments, procedures, tests, and referrals while ensuring efficient delivery of care and identifying potential conflicts or variances from expected outcomes.
  • Coordination of Care: Communicate and collaborate with healthcare teams, patients, and families to maximize patient outcomes and delegate tasks appropriately to other healthcare team members.
  • Quality: Serve as a mentor, preceptor, and leader, participating in quality improvement initiatives and incorporating evidence-based practice and research findings into nursing care.
Requirements
  • A graduate of an accredited nursing program and a current RN license in the state of Mississippi.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification within the first 30 days of employment.
Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this position is $70,000, based on industry standards and market conditions.
