Job Title: Lung/Oncology NurseAbout the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Lung/Oncology Nurse to join our team at Manatee Memorial Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to individuals with lung and oncology-related conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with lung and oncology-related conditions, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients.
  • Conduct patient education and counseling on disease management, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Current Florida State RN licensure
  • BSN preferred
  • BCLS and ACLS certification required
  • At least 2 years of experience in oncology nursing
  • Oncology certification or obtained within 1 year
  • Strong leadership, critical thinking, and stress management skills
