We are seeking an experienced Environmental Compliance Specialist to join our Global Environmental Compliance and Permitting team in El Segundo, CA. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring environmental management systems, processes, and programs. This position will require a candidate with knowledge and experience across multiple environmental media types, including Air Quality, Hazardous Waste, Industrial Waste Water, Storm Water, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops, implements, and monitors environmental management systems, processes, and programs
- Assesses the impact of emerging environmental issues, legislation, and regulations on company operations
- Acts as primary site interface with regulatory agencies, South Coast Air Quality Management Division (SCAQMD)
Requirements:
- Bachelor's of Science (or greater) from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry, or other technical degree
- 3+ years of experience with environmental engineering over multiple media types (chemical, air, waste water, storm water, hazardous waste, etc.)
- 1+ years of environmental engineering supporting heavy manufacturing
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of experience with environmental engineering over multiple media types (chemical, air, waste water, storm water, hazardous waste, etc.)
- 3+ years of environmental engineering supporting heavy manufacturing
Relocation: Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Pay: The Boeing Company also provides eligible employees with an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and a number of programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work.
Summary Pay Range: $96,500 - $129,950 (Mid-Level) and $117,300 - $158,700 (Senior Level)
