Job Description

We are seeking a Medical Front Office Coordinator to join our team at Rome Memorial Hospital. This per diem position offers flexibility for those looking to supplement their income or gain experience in a medical setting.

In this role, you will provide exceptional administrative support to our physicians and physician extenders, ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk activities.


Duties and Responsibilities
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments, check-ups, and physician referrals.
  • Prepare medical charts, reports, and correspondence relevant to upcoming visits.
  • Register patients according to hospital protocols and guidelines.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suites (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • 2-3 years of receptionist experience.
  • Basic knowledge of insurance authorization requirements.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
