Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Liquidity Planning Manager to join our team. As a key member of our small team, you'll be responsible for ensuring efficient liquidity management for our Annuity, Life, and Long-Term Care Businesses. You'll partner with Investments, Finance, Treasury, and other functional areas to develop cash forecasts, complete complex ad hoc financial analysis, and drive ongoing process improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and manage key aspects of US Life Insurance Cash forecast.
  • Ensure efficient deployment of Cash for Investment.
  • Build relationships with key forecast suppliers and customers such as Investments, Finance, and Corporate Treasury.
  • Develop and conduct reviews with focus on continuous forecast improvement.
  • Monitor cash and collateral liquidity demands surrounding Trust, Reinsurance, Derivative, and Repo programs.
  • Complete complex ad hoc financial analysis and drive ongoing process improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, or other technical area required; Master's Degree is preferred.
  • 5-7 years financial analysis experience required; Prior Insurance and/or Finance industry experience preferred.
  • Strong modeling and Excel skills, including familiarity with automation or analytics tools such as Alteryx.
  • Strong communication, analytic, and problem-solving skills. Ability to drill down to root cause, understand and articulate underlying business reason, and apply appropriate judgment.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to work successfully on cross-functional teams and manage projects.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Familiarity with Treasury processes and products including Treasury Workstation and Settlement systems.
