Job Summary

This Medical Delivery Specialist role is responsible for transporting medical items to and from labs, hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving a commercial vehicle safely and efficiently, as well as handling physical exertion and movement while working on campus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transporting labs, deposits, mail, supplies, equipment, linens, medications, and paperwork to and from the hospital, local labs, or any other partnering facilities
  • Driving the UMC campus shuttle or golf cart and transporting patients, employees, or visitors from one site on campus to another site
  • Logging vehicle mileage and maintenance information in the company logbook
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Texas Driver's License with a clean driving record
Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $45,000-$60,000, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
