Job Overview:

We're seeking an experienced Medical Territory Business Development Manager to partner with our Clinical Diabetes Specialist and drive the adoption of our cutting-edge insulin pump and future products in your assigned territory. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute strategic plans to meet or exceed sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Territory Planning: Collaborate with the CDS to create effective territory strategies and initiatives to drive business growth.
  • Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with physicians, advanced practitioners, and key diabetes institutions to promote Sequel's products and services.
  • Sales Growth: Drive continued adoption and expansion of our product portfolio by delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Product Expertise: Develop in-depth knowledge of Sequel's products and stay up-to-date on diabetes therapeutics to provide informed guidance to customers.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with customer care and sales support teams to optimize user experiences and resolve issues.
  • Market Awareness: Represent Sequel at conventions and educational forums to increase product visibility.

Additional Responsibilities for Senior Role:

  • Mentorship: Guide junior staff members in their professional development and sales growth.
  • Training and Development: Assist with field sales training and contribute to the creation of new training programs.
  • Leadership: Participate in internal advisory boards and take on leadership roles within the team.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Preferred degree for this role.
  • Sales Experience: 2+ years of successful sales experience, preferably in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industries.
  • Valid Driver's License: Required for frequent travel within your assigned territory.

Senior TBL Requirements:

  • Extended Sales Experience: 4+ years of sales success within pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industries.
  • Diabetes Knowledge: Experience promoting diabetes devices and knowledge of diabetes therapeutics preferred.

Preferred Skills and Abilities:

  • Strategic Problem-Solving: Proven ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Exceptional Communication: Strong communication and presentation skills to engage with customers and stakeholders.
  • Data Analysis: Ability to collect and analyze data to inform sales strategies and improve performance.
  • Leadership Potential: Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales goals, with a track record of leadership and innovation.

Salary Range:

$80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Location:

The position requires frequent travel within the assigned territory, which includes Midland, Lubbock, Amarillo, and Abilene, Texas.
