Key Responsibilities:
In this dynamic position, you will deliver engineering and consulting expertise across a diverse range of projects and clientele. Your responsibilities will encompass leading field investigations, conducting engineering analyses, performing calculations, and formulating recommendations. You will also be involved in the design and preparation of plans and specifications, overseeing construction compliance, and drafting, preparing, and reviewing pertinent reports.

Your role will include evaluating project drawings and construction to ensure adherence to established plans and specifications. You will prepare proposals and cost assessments, monitor project timelines and budgets, and suggest necessary adjustments. Additionally, you will investigate and resolve design and construction challenges while reviewing laboratory or field data for report inclusion.

Utilizing sound engineering principles, you will effectively communicate complex engineering concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Your services may extend to existing or prospective projects in various sectors, including public works, transportation, commercial, communications, energy, and industrial.

Essential Duties:
  • Champion safety initiatives for the team, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and fostering a secure work environment.
  • Encourage ongoing quality assessment and enhancement throughout projects, maintaining high standards.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of project-related risks and implement protective measures for the company.
  • Provide senior-level engineering guidance necessary for the successful execution of both standard and complex projects.
  • Oversee the initial design conceptualization and investigative strategies for significant project phases or manage the engineering tasks for projects of moderate complexity.
  • Plan, organize, and coordinate engineering activities, addressing conventional practices while accommodating complex design requirements.
  • Review projects that necessitate advanced investigation techniques and supervise the analysis and formulation of recommendations in client reports; conduct technical reviews of documentation.
  • Lead technical training initiatives and make informed decisions based on cutting-edge technological developments.
  • Drive marketing, sales, and business development efforts.
  • Supervise junior engineers or technical support staff on various projects.
  • Act as an Authorized Project Reviewer.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • 8-11 years of relevant experience.
  • Master's degree in Engineering is preferred.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
Preferred Certification:
  • Authorized Project Reviewer status.
