About the Role:

Terracon is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Chattanooga, TN. As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you will provide technical direction and leadership on a variety of projects, including geotechnical engineering, materials testing, and construction inspection.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical direction and leadership on geotechnical engineering projects
  • Conduct field investigations, engineering analysis, and design
  • Develop and implement quality control and quality assurance procedures
  • Lead and mentor junior engineers and technicians
  • Develop and maintain client relationships

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Minimum 8-11 years of experience in geotechnical engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Engineering
  • Authorized Project Reviewer status
