Job Title: Application Manager

We are seeking an experienced Application Manager to join our team in Switzerland. As a key member of our technical leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and deployment of our critical real-time processing platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a dedicated team of 10 technical professionals in the development and deployment of our platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the platform's reliability and efficiency.
  • Oversee test activities of releases and projects, ensuring alignment with time and budget constraints.
  • Utilize your deep understanding of solutions, applications, and technical environments to drive technical decision-making.
  • Manage and use multiple tools to ensure all applications are running correctly.
Requirements:
  • College degree in computer science or equivalent work experience.
  • Relevant experience in a similar role in a time-critical and service-oriented company.
  • Good business understanding of interbank services such as SWIFT, SIC, or SECOM.
  • Knowledge of SWIFT services like InterAct, FileAct, Browse.
  • Expertise in Unix Operating System and coding/Scripting of Unix shell script.
  • Basic know-how in network and database administrations.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • SAG know-how, Ingres Database knowledge, SQL.
  • Basic Excel, SQL, Splunk, Python, Scripts, Github, JIRA knowledge.
  • Working knowledge of Windows Server OS and knowledge of scripting.
  • Very good knowledge of Red Hat Linux and scripting.
  • Very good knowledge of JBoss and Tomcat.
  • Working knowledge of databases such as Oracle, Ingres, and good in writing SQL queries for Oracle and/or Ingres.
  • Working knowledge of FTP / SFTP/ WebSphere MQ integration.
  • Good knowledge of VMwareESXi.
  • Good understanding of Hybrid Cloud technologies and Azure.
