TWO95 International is seeking a highly skilled Water Treatment Plant Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our water treatment plant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain water treatment plant equipment, including pumps, valves, and motors.
  • Monitor and control water quality parameters, including pH, turbidity, and disinfection byproducts.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment, and replacing worn or damaged parts.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless plant operations and respond to emergencies as needed.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as environmental science or engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in water treatment plant operations.
  • Valid Waterworks Operator's Certification in the appropriate class.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SCADA systems and advanced coagulant control using zeta meters.
  • Knowledge of water quality standards and regulations.
  • Ability to obtain Pennsylvania Class A Water Treatment License within 3 years.

Working Conditions:

  • 24/7 operation with weekly rotation swing shift that includes weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to work in a confined area and wear a respirator.
  • Exposure to chemicals, fumes, odors, and dust.
