TWO95 International is seeking a highly skilled Water Treatment Plant Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our water treatment plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain water treatment plant equipment, including pumps, valves, and motors.
- Monitor and control water quality parameters, including pH, turbidity, and disinfection byproducts.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment, and replacing worn or damaged parts.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless plant operations and respond to emergencies as needed.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as environmental science or engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in water treatment plant operations.
- Valid Waterworks Operator's Certification in the appropriate class.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SCADA systems and advanced coagulant control using zeta meters.
- Knowledge of water quality standards and regulations.
- Ability to obtain Pennsylvania Class A Water Treatment License within 3 years.
Working Conditions:
- 24/7 operation with weekly rotation swing shift that includes weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work in a confined area and wear a respirator.
- Exposure to chemicals, fumes, odors, and dust.
