Ultrasound Technician PRN Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technician PRN to join our team at LewisGale Medical Center. As an Ultrasound Sonographer, you will be responsible for preparing patients, collecting relevant information, and performing sonographic exams following defined protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compile accurate records to expedite results.
  • Analyze the quality of images and processes as required.
  • Complete data sheets containing pertinent patient information following exams.
  • Take call after regular hours to meet department needs.
Requirements:
  • Two to three years' experience as a Radiologic Technologist or Sonographer, including two-plus years of experience in a hospital.
  • ARDMS or ARRT Registered.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
